Modern Construction

Sierra's modern composite doors are individually constructed by bonding high impact, fibreglass outer skins to PVC composite rails surrounding an inner core of thermally efficient, CFC free polyurethane foam for outstanding heat insulation and soundproofing. They will not bow, warp, crack, splinter,
dent or rust - yet retain the warmth and charm of wood
without any of the drawbacks.

Locking Systems

All doors in our range come with the Paddock Lockmaster multi point locking systems as standard. This lock carries the police preferred Secured By Design accreditation. Every locking system includes two hook locks, a deadlock and a latch mounted on an aluminium face plate. The lock is available in brown or white to suit the inside colour of the door.

NEW Advancements

There has recently been a rise in the prominence of a new 'break-in' technique called 'bumping'. It's basically a way that criminals are exploited a weakness in older doors which allows the cylinder locking mechanism to be 'bumped' out of place using a type of skeleton key. Entry via this technique can be gained within 30 seconds.

Due to this from January 2009 we will be introducing the newly developed Vectis cylinder free multi point lock, which is the first of its kind. By combining a traditional Mortice lock with multi point locking the Vectis is designed to meet the requirements of PAS23/24 and Secured By Design and prevents access via bumping, snapping or plug extraction.

Through Colour

The colour in our composite doors is not just on the surface, it runs right through the solid outer face, so there's never any painting required. Customers can choose from a choice of Red, Blue, Green, White or Black exterior colours all with a white interior. Alternatively we offer our hand painted Rosewood and Antique Oak woodgrain effects available with matching woodgrain or white interior, or our new pre finished woodgrain effects Rich Chestnut and Light Elm, both available with a white interior.
